Michael Rose
Michael Rose is a composer, conductor and teacher based in North Buckinghamshire. Formerly the Music Adviser for Bedfordshire, he conducts the Bedfordshire County Youth Orchestra, Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra and Bedford Sinfonia and is Director of the Olney Conducting Workshops.

Both Michael and one of the Olney Conducting Workshops' students, Ben Westlake, appeared on the Young Musician of the Year on 7th May at 7.30 on BBC4. Ben, who reached the fianl as a clarinettist, was shown having a conducting lesson with Michael in our home in Olney, towards the end of the programme. 75th Birthday Concert - photos
